L8er Hey Nitrous Welcome and thanks for posting I was wondering if anyone from there was gonna come by here heheheee. I will be glad to help you get started. Moding for heat is not that easy its gonna take some time took me 3 or four days to figure it all out & 3 yrs to get fairly good at it. I was quite determined tho. If i were you i would wait till you at least get the game and get everything set up and working try out some of the mods etc....... then maybe start learning the file structures and what all needs to be done. once you get the hang of it all its pretty easy liek i said myself and others here will be glad to help out. again welcome and i hope you stick around a bit.

The game can be bought at walmart sometimes or at ebay cheap. You do a full install, then run a few laps to add a set of files to it then you an start installing the patchs. There are a bunch of mods but some are getting hard to find. I advise getting Mod Lancher 2 to run the different mods. There are over 200 tracks and at least 60 mods and you need to control how many tracks are loaded for each mod to cut down on warp and lag. MCH has the most different types of cars of any of them and has a wide range of tire and rim selections. If you need help just ask , there are no dumb questions.
